At Kimberly Altman Art, we pour the paint onto the canvas and allow the colors to flow as if they were alive. Using gravity and a few simple techniques, everyone can create beautiful, amazing works of art in just an hour or two.
You are creative and can create the beauty that surrounds you, too. Come on in. The world needs your creativity and beauty!
I am delighted to give classes for 3 or more participants. When 4 to 30 register, we’ll call this a party!
Parties
Kimberly Altman Art produces Painting Parties for all sorts of celebrations, from birthday parties to baby and bridal showers, to “Girls Nights Out’, for fundraisers and company-sponsored activities or for just plain wanting to spend some fun time with friends. Painting Parties are a terrific way to enjoy time with friends while offering a unique experience and an opportunity to learn something new. And, the best part is that it’s FUN!!
I will provide everything you’ll need for your very successful painting party, including the tarps and table coverings that will protect your space, the canvases and paint, and all the other supplies that we’ll use.
All you need to provide is the venue (your home or back yard is usually the perfect setting), and any food and/or beverages you may want to serve.
If you’re looking for a fun and unique way to spend some time with friends or family, or if you want to give a party that will be remembered for a long, long time, you will LOVE this experience!!
In this class, you’ll learn the basics of acrylic pour art, how to mix the paints and the products to use for the best result, and color combinations that make the most amazing paintings. You’ll learn one pouring technique and you’ll paint one 8” x 10” canvas.
If time allows, you are welcome to paint a second canvas at a nominal additional price, which will vary depending on the size of the canvas.
In this class, you will learn everything covered in the 1-hour class, plus you’ll learn two additional pouring techniques (for a total of three pouring techniques), and you’ll be able to paint three 8” x 10” canvases (or larger for a nominal additional cost).
Triptychs are always fun to create, or you may choose to do three completely different paintings!
